Operation Enduring Freedom

On April 16, 2003, a soldier assigned to the 307th Engineer Battalion exits a house after searching it for weapons in the town of Khar Bolaq while participating in a mission called Operation Crackdown. Soldiers from the 307th Engineer Battalion, 2/505th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division and 754th Explosive Ordnance Disposal participated in the mission called Operation Crackdown in Khar Bolaq, Afghanistan. The purpose of the mission is to find and demolish weapons that can be used against coalition forces deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. (U.S. Army photo by Spc.
